At the Moscow stock exchange the dollar and the euro went up at the start of the trading session. Due to the decrease in oil prices, the ruble is falling.
The first deals on the dollar were carried out within 64,93-64,99 rubles; on average in the first a minute and a half the exchange rate has become equal to 64.96 rubles. Herewith the euro was equal to 72.76 rubles. The currency basket has risen by 12.5 kopecks, and amounted to 68.47 rubles.
At the same time the US dollar has become 22 kopecks higher than the current official exchange rate; the euro – by 33 kopecks below the official rate. The ruble has slightly fallen in 2-3 minutes after the start of the trading; the dollar has become more than 65 rubles.
The experts of “Interfax” associate a slight fall of the ruble against the dollar and euro with the retreat of oil quotations. Oil prices started falling on Monday. To the beginning of the day October futures prices for Brent oil have fallen by more than 1.5%- to 49.2 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange. This has happened due to Iranian statements that cast doubt on the probability of reaching an agreement on the production freeze among the OPEC member countries in September.
