Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange launched in 2017, has placed Bitcoin ads at bus stops in the UK’s capital. According to Coin Telegraph, citing the tweet by Binance the company targeted 17 bus stops in London. The advertisement portrays old British coins, alongside the current edition of £2 and Bitcoin next to them.

The move with Bitcoin ads seems to reflect the changes in the financial landscape, with cryptocurrencies taking over traditional money. Moreover, according to the source, this coincides with Binance’s expansion into the UK, which the company announced in June. Before launching in autumn this year, the cryptocurrency exchange has to comply with legal standards in the UK and register with its financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Binance.UK has also recently announced joining CryptoUK, a self-regulatory digital trading association in the UK. The exchange will join several other large cryptocurrency platforms as an executive member of the organization. Together with the other members, the firm will work on supporting the best industry practices in the UK.

Binance currently ranks first among the leading cryptocurrency exchanges on Coin Market Cap. Its daily trading volume at the moment of writing reaches over $6,9 billion. The most popular cryptocurrencies trading on Binance include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Chainlink (LINK).
